Singler Open

FlyerWhat started out as a high school senior project has grown into one of the largest tournaments in the region. As Kyle’s basketball career evolved from a high school All American to a NCAA national champion and now into the pros, the tournament he created has grown and evolved and we are proud to announce our 9th year of this hall mark event. With help from brother EJ, the Kyle Singler Southern Oregon Open has grown into what many have called the premier youth basketball event of the year featuring teams from Oregon, California and Washington.

Kids Unlimited: Providing empowerment through opportunity to the youth of Southern Oregon

Kids Unlimited is committed to creating pathways for youth whose lives are more often defined by barriers. For the past 16 years, Kids Unlimited has been empowering the youth of the Rogue Valley through after school programs, enrichment activities, sports leagues, exposure to the arts and community engagement. The vision of Kids Unlimited is to create a cradle to college pipeline through wrap-around support services and full engagement of parents, educators and the community.

The youth who participate in Kids Unlimited programs come from areas plagued by poverty and the associated problems of drugs, violence and abuse; they live in areas that have been identified as “high poverty hotspots” and many come families who must overcome significant language and literacy barriers. Kids Unlimited believes that youth can transcend those hurdles with help from caring, committed leaders and structured programs that provide opportunities instead of obstacles.
